Unmetronome began with a simple passion: to build an exceptional metronome. From physical to digital designs, we study what works and remove what frustrates — learning from every practice session.
It’s more than a metronome. It’s a mobile-first music companion designed to fit into everyday life. Whether you’re waiting for the lift or commuting, you should be able to explore ideas and make music in seconds — intuitive, fast, responsive.
Metronome
A pro-grade metronome with subdivisions, swing, polyrhythm, solfege singing, and multiple visualization modes including orbit, pendulum, big blink, and hand clapping. Tap tempo, quick save and load, vibrating haptics, and a built-in recorder that captures both the click and your playing.
Step Sequencer
A mobile-friendly step sequencer with dedicated beat, melody, chord, and rhythm section tracks. Patent pending step roll interface for super fast notating and transcribing. Mix time signatures and keys freely, copy and paste measures, loop selected sections, and export your song as editable format or audio with fade out.
Melody Input
Easily enter melodies with an intuitive step editor. See solfege, chord names, or note names on each step. Automatic chord detection by step, beat, or measure. Velocity control and articulation editing for expressive sequences.
Keyboard
A double row, multi-touch keyboard designed for the small screen. Quickly jot down ideas and inspirations with sustain hold, velocity slider, and your choice of 50+ built-in instruments.
Practice Stats
Track your practice sessions and see how you’re progressing over time. Daily, weekly, and monthly breakdowns with streak tracking to keep you motivated on your musical journey.
Tuner
A chromatic tuner with dedicated guitar and bass tuning modes. Real-time pitch detection keeps your instrument in tune before every session — simple, accurate, and always at hand.
